I just watched the Gen Y edition of QandA thanks to my grandparents recording it. It was great! It reminded me about the rush I get from debating things. QandA always makes me feel smart and dumb at the same time. This episode starred a woman named Samah Hadid; When I grow up, I want to be as articulate, smart and collected as her.
This photo is sort of linked. It is taken in Opa's study. Opa's study is one of my favourite rooms ever. when I was little I used to sleep in here when we came to visit. I used to pretend that his filing system was a cash register because I really wanted to be a check out chick. The world globe in the picture was given to me for two years while they were in Tonga. Opa told me to look after it for him. This is a really big deal because at that age I was considered highly irresponsible and had a habit of breaking everything I touched. I looked after that globe so carefully, and at the end of two years I gave it back unharmed. I also had memorised most of the countries and their geographical location. These days I come in here and just marvel at all the information that's stored in this tiny room.
