day 20

Tonight was supposed to be the first night that i go out as a fully legal 18 year old. however Joss wasnt feeling well so we had a change of plans. we went and bought chocolate and cookies and cream icecream and watched a crappy TV series which i really like called 'greek'.

this morning I got out of bed head first. I have a top bunk so it was pretty funny and quite painful. Joss got a video of it and this is a screen shot of before things got too messy..

I so did not feel like taking a picture and then i took a picture and edited it and it was the UGLIEST picture i have ever seen of myself. i couldnt bring myself to put it on the internet cos it was so gross so i took a nicer picture and that is the photo for the day. (if you spy closely the bad one is in the picture.)

Today is 'To Write Love On Her Arms' day. its a day aimed at raising awareness of depression, anxiety, self harm and suicide. I edited my picture a bit (my arm doesnt usually have that texture or colour.)
incidentally, today was the AFL grandfinal. It was a St Kilda Vs Collingwood DRAW!!! first time in AFL history.

I took hundreds of photos today because I had to do promotion for the outfit I made in textiles this year.

so there was a really pretty sunset. and I thought, "hey that can be my photo for the day." the second I pull over two things happen:
1, the sun disappears under the horizon and the photo is ruined.
2, every single person driving out of town went past me and gawked and it was kinda embarrassing.

I waited until there were no other cars and took a picture of me and the car. (I'm still stoked about my licence.)

I started to do homework today in the park with Joss. this picture was taken before I gave up and started sun baking because maths was being annoying.

I was taking pictures whilst doing a handstand. the first picture was the best but unfortunately singlets and turning upside down arent conducive to modesty. so I chose this one instead, its still funny.

I was feeling fairly overwhelmed by my messy room this morning. at least its still colourful when its messy.

I was walking up the street today (there were no cars at home otherwise i would definitely have driven), and it felt like it was about to start pouring with rain. thankfully it didnt.

I GOT MY LICENCE!!!! I have been waiting for this day since I was two years old and drove into a fence.

funny story about my hair. in my head, its blonde. in reality its quite brown. i died it dark brown which is definitely NOT my natural colour. 3 months later and there is still no hint of regrowth. oddly though, it does change colour, just not via my roots.

Jono gave me a birthday present today. it was a rubiks cube pepper grinder. i LOVE rubiks cubes. he also gave me a melting rubiks cube t-shirt.

I managed to snap one photo before my camera batteries died.
this is my VCE jumper. it is magical, it can physically part crowds of junior school children. im not looking forward to the real world, where this jumpers magic doesnt work.

Today was the aftermath of my birthday, my family took me down to the pub (good old country pub) to buy drinks for everyone. this is a picture of my first (official) legal alcoholic drink. baileys FTW.

so yesterday was my birthday. it went off with a bang and was fun for all :) we all had so much fun that we forgot to take photos. This photo is of me and my best friend Elise, im the one in the green. I initially thought i should have a photo of just me but i didnt get one. so here it is...

The beginning

So the other week my mum and i were surfing the internet and we came across a girl who did the 365 challenge. basically she took a photo of herself everyday for a year. im turning 18 on saturday and I thought, 'hey why dont I give it a go. I'll have a photo for every day that I am 18 years old.'
im not a hardcore photographer so I wont necessarily take the photos but ill give it a go.
